Due to the Coronavirus outbreak WSET courses and other events have been postponed. Watch this space for future events on the “other side”, including Harvey Nichols events which were about to be launched before lockdown began – these include complementary shop floor tastings, and wine masterclasses with canapes in the Second Floor Restaurant.

Wine Rivers of France at The Wine Shop Winscombe
As part of their busy wine and spirits tasting schedule for 2019, we introduce a new and exciting set of Wine Shop tastings looking at wines in greater depth. Our WSET students often ask for extra tastings to supplement the course – and judging by how many of them have booked places, it seems we have provided just what they need! This year the theme is Wine Rivers of France so hop into your kayak and explore – £20 per head.

GO ORANGE! Charity Wine Tasting – Friday 1 February 2019 – Trinity Centre, Church Lane, Nailsea
Inspired by local charity Luke’s Army, Diana donned an orange wig, sunnies, orange nails and orange outfit to host a wine and cocktail tasting and quiz night on Go Orange Day to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy UK, fighting muscle wasting conditions. The event SOLD OUT. The tasting and raffle raised over £400. Many thanks to Holy Trinity Church Nailsea, The Wine Shop Winscombe, Tout’s Budgens of Nailsea & Sutton Ridge Vineyard for their help and donations.
